The Reading Adventures of Super Why
The series airs on Nick Jr. in the United Kingdom, PBS Kids and PBS Kids Go in the USA and Kids’ CBC in Canada, and is main focus is the audience from ages 3 to 6. The show teaches critical reading skills such as the spelling, alphabet, pronunciation, phonics, writing, and word usage. Super Why is produced by Toronto-based DHX Media through its Decode Entertainment division and New York City-based Out of the Blue Enterprises. The cartoon debuted September 3, 2007on PBS stations around the USA on Labor Day.
The Reading Adventures of Super Why have many cast and characters to watch and inline with this other product and merchandises are produced and made for kid and adults to enjoy with. There are 12 adventure locations across the countr, and there’s even a family-only centre, Loch Ranza, on the Isle of Arran off Scotland’s West coast. List activities that your kids enjoy. Create a list by asking your kids what they would like to do over the summer. Don’t ask them where they want to go, as they will most likely cite expensive commercial locations. Take advantage of free or reduced price activities. Replace visits to expensive parks and distant travel with public beaches, local camping, public parks, free museum tours, and community pool parties.
Avoid activities that require overnight travel. Traveling with kids is very expensive; gas, lodging, amusement park entrance fees, and food can bankrupt any family. Replace extensive travel with local travel; explore your local area to include nearby towns and cities.
Learn your own town/city/state. You will be surprised at what you’ve overlooked in terms of attractions. If you live near a city, you should be able to find many kid activities, public parks, and events. If you live in a rural area, you take advantage of nature walks, regional/state parks, lakes, and summer festivals and shows.
If you need a helping hand, use low cost camps for summer day care. If you must work during the summer and require full day entertainment for you kids, use relatives, churches, and YMCA camps, as they tend to be less expensive – avoid expensive private and state park and recreation camps
